Golf rules of etiquette

1. Golf course:
• It is strictly forbidden to drive a golf cart on putting green, within 30 metres of the starting tees and within 30 metres of putting green;
• If golfer after swing made divot, the player must collect the piece of turf and return it to its place;
• If the ball leaves pitchmark on putting green, the player must use a special fork to lift the grass slightly at the spot of the hole so that no hole remains;
• If player play shot from bunker, sand must be raked back into shape;
• The basic rule of golf is to leave the course as you found it before.

2. Noise:
• Do not disturb other players;
• Any noise is unwanted.

3. Players:
• Do not stand in the firing line;
• Do not stand behind a player;
• If the opponent has failed to hit – refrain from commenting. Encouragement is recommended. Praise a good shot;
• Observe the set pace of play;
• Do not spend too much time looking for a lost ball, especially if there are other players behind you ready to play. The rule is 3 minutes;
• On the golf course, skip the fastest group of people (flute).

4. Apparel:
• Trousers or shorts are recommended, for women – skirts, but they should be in golf attire;
• Jeans should be strictly avoided;
• It is also recommended to wear short or longer sleeved shirts with a collar;
• Avoid sleeveless shirts and ladies blouses with shoulder straps or low necklines;
• Wear appropriate golf shoes. High heels or sandals are not appropriate. Shoes must have smooth soles.

5. Driving range:
• Driving range balls are NOT allowed on the putting green and are not allowed to be carried onto the golf course to play golf. If you have any balls left after your golf practice, you must leave them in the Driving Range practice area;
• It is forbidden to collect balls from the Driving Range yourself;
• Any noise in the Driving Range area is not allowed.
